1. REGISTRATION

1.1 To register for the FIMG 2024, the candidate must access the site www.fimg.mx and in the BASES menu they will obtain all the information necessary for admission, information about available places and programs; Then you must access the REGISTER menu where you will find the form that you must fill out in its entirety.

1.2 Registration for FIMG 2024 will begin on Monday, September 18, 2023, and will end on Friday, October 27, 2023, at 11:59 p.m. (Guadalajara time).

1.3 The publication of the LIST OF THE SELECTED THOSE will be on Friday, November 3, both on the site www.fimg.mx and on our social networks. The festival could announce the selected students by email before the official publication.

1.4 If there are remaining places for any instrument, the FIMG could open new registrations starting November 6, 2023.

2. PAYMENT OF TUITION

2.1 Registered participants who appear on the Selected List must pay the registration fee, in accordance with the provisions of the registration rules, the first payment no later than November 20, 2023, the second payment no later than due on December 20, 2023 and the last payment no later than January 20, 2024. (NO EXCEPTION).

2.2 The registration fee DOES NOT include transportation, lodging or meals; each participant must cover these expenses on their own.

3. RULES FOR PAYMENT OF TUITION REGISTRATION

3.1 Selected candidates who do not make their payments in a timely manner will be automatically disqualified, giving the opportunity to another candidate on the Waiting List. The data to make payments will be sent via email to the already selected participants.

4. CANCELLATION AND RETURN OF THE REGISTRATION VALUE

4.1 Registrations may be canceled by the participant, based on the following refund rule:

Cancellations made up to 7 days after payment: refund of 50% of the registration value, excluding from the refund the total value of the Paypal administrative fee if applicable.

b)

Cancellations made after 7 days will not be entitled to a refund of the registration fee.

c)

The FIMG will refund the percentages referring to the registration fee up to 10 business days after the end of the festival.

5. ASSISTANCE AND ACTIVITIES

5.1 Participants must be present in all pedagogical and artistic activities for which the FIMG determined their presence. Participants with scheduling conflicts or who are unable to participate in any class, concert, or other activity must notify FIMG as quickly as possible explaining the nature of the conflict, also offering a suggestion as to how the conflict can be resolved. The FIMG will analyze the request and decide if the conflict deserves any adjustment or exception, or otherwise, if the participant's absence will be reason for the cancellation of registration and their Certificate of Participation.

5.2 If the conflict is known before payment of the registration fee, the FIMG recommends that the candidate cancel their registration, therefore offering their place to a candidate currently on the waiting list. Participants who miss any FIMG activity due to a conflict that was already known to them before their registration was confirmed will have their registration immediately cancelled, without the right to a refund of the registration fee, they will not receive their Certificate of Participation and They will be immediately removed from all classes, concerts and FIMG activities.

5.3 By meeting the criteria of frequency, performance and conduct, the participant will be entitled to the Certificate of Participation with details of the classes, teachers and projects.

6. PEDAGOGICAL AND ARTISTIC ACTIVITIES

6.1 The participant must attend the master classes, rehearsals and chamber music classes scheduled by the FIMG.

6.2 It is the responsibility of participants to bring their own instruments and accessories.

6.3 The participant must study their parts in advance, and come prepared for all rehearsals, concerts and classes that require their presence and participation.

6.4 The participant must live with his colleagues and teachers in an atmosphere of harmony and mutual support.

6.5 The Programming is the sole responsibility of the FIMG and changes may occur without prior notice.

6.6 Teachers may be excused or added without prior notice, as well as, they may be authorized to temporarily distance themselves from their pedagogical activities, at the discretion of the FIMG.

6.7 FIMG is not responsible for the consequences derived from any change.

7. RECREATION OR EXTRA ACTIVITIES

7.1 Any extra activity that may arise, whether recreation or tourism, will be optional. The participant will accept responsibility if they decide to participate in them, the festival is not responsible for any unforeseen event that may arise.

8. MINORS

8.1

All participants who are minors must send the authorization form from their parents duly signed and with a copy of their identification. This form will be sent to all minors who will attend the festival without a companion, whether a parent or guardian, since the festival is not responsible for them.

9. RULES OF CONDUCT

9.1

All participants must comply with the basic rules of conduct during all FIMG activities, such as punctuality, order and respect for teachers, students and any person within the institution.

9.2

It is strictly prohibited to attend our activities under the influence of alcohol or any substance that prevents you from carrying out the activities correctly.

9.3

Participants must bring clothing suitable for classes; it is prohibited to attend activities with sleeveless shirts and sandals. The clothing for the orchestra concert will be all black, in the case of women who wear dresses it will have to be below the knee in length.

9.4

Any damage caused by the student to any of the festival facilities must be paid for or repaired by the student.

9.5

Failure to comply with any of the aforementioned rules could be grounds for withdrawal from the Festival.

10. USE OF PHOTOGRAPHS AND RECORDINGS

10.1 Participation in the FIMG implies the free granting of all voice, sound and image rights of the participant, which may be captured by the FIMG or by third parties on its behalf, for the inclusion of said material in various formats, during the present event or future. The FIMG may have extracts and fragments of its participants, giving them unpaid use, adapting the information for the purposes of producing audiovisual works, for exhibition through screen projection in public places of collective frequency, in events with or without admission. paid, transmit it via radio and/or television of any type (open television or pay television, through all existing forms of signal transport, UHF, VHF, cable, MMDS and satellite). 11. GENERAL TERMS

11.1 Participating students, who during the FIMG 2024 have their registration canceled due to non-compliance with the already established rules, will not have the right to receive their Certificate of Participation.

11.2 The cases omitted in these regulations will be analyzed, attended to and resolved by the Management and the Organizing Commission of the FIMG.
