Mission and vision

The mission of the Guadalajara International Music Festival is to provide Mexican and foreign musicians with a platform that promotes musical teaching and development at the highest level. Facilitated by the most prestigious teachers of today that the FIMG invites to teach classes, be tutors for chamber groups and, not least, offer concerts and recitals.

Our vision is to consolidate ourselves as a benchmark for excellence in musical teaching. Using music as a means to inspire, unite and contribute to positive social change, transmitting to young talents the importance of being not only good musicians, but also better people.

All our activities are open to the public, in order to involve the greatest number of young people and adults, who, like us, firmly believe that access to quality music is a fundamental right, as well as the most great tool to unite and form better citizens.

Music is a vehicle for social change and a fundamental supportmental for the development of young people. The Guadalajara International Music Festival will promote the musical talent of participants from Mexico and different countries, aspiring for the festival to be an engine for the artistic and cultural growth of Guadalajara.
