Venezuelan violinist, graduated with distinction in Violin Performance from the Royal School of Music in London. She was formed in the Venezuelan Orchestra System and in the Latin American Violin Academy of Venezuela with teachers José António Abreu and teacher José Francisco del Castillo.


Developed in the orchestral world, from a very young age she served as concertmaster of the Teresa Carreño Youth Symphony Orchestra and also a guest of the Simón Bolívar Orchestra of Venezuela. Since 2015 she has been guest concertmaster of the São Paulo State Symphony Orchestra, also of the International Youth Orchestra at the UN, among others. Performing under the batons of the maestros Claudio Abbado, Rafael Frühbeck de Burgos, Gustavo Dudamel, Sir Simon Rattle, Marin Alsop, among others, touring with these orchestras through the important stages of America, Europe and Asia.


Together with the orchestra, Angélica has also developed a career

as a soloist, covering a wide repertoire of solo violin in important venues such as Teatro Auditorium Manzoni, Teatro Municipale Valli, Victória Hall, Opernhaus Zürich, Stavanger Konserthus, Folkets Hus Hudiksvall, Gävle Konserthus, Sala São Paulo, Moravská filharmonie Olomouc, Teatro Teresa Carreño, Degollado Theater, among others. Accompanied by the orchestras: Simón Bolívar de Venezuela, Mozart Orchestra, Teresa Carreño Youth Symphony Orchestra, The Moravská Filharmonie Orchestra, Jalisco Philharmonic Orchestra, Gavle Symfoniorkester, Stavanger Symfoniorkester, National Symphony Orchestra of Ecuador, Yucatan Symphony Orchestra, Autonomous University Orchestra of Nuevo León, among others. Under the eminent batons of Claudio Abbado, Gustavo Dudamel, Rafael Payare, Christian Vásquez, Jesús Medina, Gabriel Chmura, Diego Matheuz, Nicholas Kraemer, Sung Kwak, Eduardo Marturet, Mario Bencecry, Thiago Tiberio, Miran Vauputic, Juan Carlos Lomónaco, Álvaro Manzano , among others.


Maestra Olivo is a Spinto Artist and since 2016 she has been working as soloist concertmaster in the Jalisco Philharmonic Orchestra, under the direction of maestro José Luis Castillo.
